We are an independent Bible-teaching church that desires to see people come to a relationship with the living God through faith in Jesus Christ. The church is God's tool to help believers become fruitful disciples of Christ for God's glory.  HBC is beginning the last stretch of a strategic three year plan that began in 2008 having completed over 30 initiatives so far - but there's more to be done!

In Sovereign Hands The Joseph Narrative - Genesis 37-50 Are we the victims of fate? Are we at the mercy of circumstances beyond our control? The Bible teaches that God is in charge of all the details of life. He works all things toward our ultimate good and His ultimate glory. One of the clearest examples of God's providential care is found in the life of Joseph. Whether he was in the dungeon or on top of the world as prime minister, Joseph was in God's sovereign hands. We too need to learn from his example to trust God in days of prosperity and adversity.
