A Moment With Pastor Fred

I hope you take advantage of the opportunity with our Magnify Conference on December 2-3. The speaker, D.A. Carson is one of the most preeminent theologians of our day. He’s not only a brilliant theologian and good author – he’s a capable speaker too. The few times I’ve heard him I walked away blessed. His subject about Christ being the climax of the Old Testament will not disappoint. The cost is only $15 per person and $25 per couple. Students are $5.

The conference begins Friday night at 7 pm: Saturday morning it resumes at 9 am concluding at 12:30 pm. I personally like this format for it gives one the entire afternoon to get things done you normally do.

“What Christ accomplished on the cross is the fulfillment of the Old Testament models and predictions,” so our brochure states. “But the climax of what it inaugurates is still future. Our ultimate vindication and transformation lie ahead. But this hope is as certain as the triumph of Christ was effective, ‘for he who promised is faithful.'”
