Pastor
Pastor Anthony Lange
Anthony Lange became pastor of HBC in January 2026. His desire is to “present everyone mature in Christ” (Col. 1:28) by applying the life-transforming truth of Christ to people’s lives. Whether through the public proclamation of the Word in the pulpit or in the personal communication of the Word over coffee, he endeavors for the centrality of the gospel in his public and personal ministry. He has served in various ministry contexts ranging from campus ministry to counseling ministry and now in pastoral ministry at HBC. He has a Bachelor’s in Ministry and Leadership from Grace Christian University, Master of Divinity from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, and is a certified counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC). In not growing up in the church he is always interested in connecting with those who have questions or objections to Christianity or anyone wanting to grow deeper in their walk with Christ. So consider this an invitation to reach out and engage for any discussion surrounding the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Anthony and his wife Kali have been married since 2017. The Lange’s serve alongside one another at HBC with their 4 young children and count it a privilege to be part of the HBC church family.
