A Moment With Pastor Fred

The theme for our Magnify conference this year is “Maturing in Christ.”  Dates:  Friday and Saturday, November 7-8. Our speaker is Joel Beeke. Register online. As a supporting church we supply cookies during the breaks. Please sign up to bring 2 dozen. This is always a highlight of the year. Come to enjoy the ministry of the Word. 

A new facility project will be underway soon. We will be moving the counseling ministry downstairs. Come January Pastor Anthony will occupy what is now the counseling room. There have been times when several of our counselors are here at the same time. With only one room they must do rock, paper scissors to see who gets it. :-) We will now have the potential for three private rooms downstairs.

Our children’s Sunday School class will move upstairs to Room 102. We need to make children’s ministry handicap accessible. Senior citizens will continue to use this room mid-week for their studies as well.

We are extremely grateful for a special gift allowing us to have these rooms painted. This should take place sometime next month.

It’s exciting to see our counseling ministry grow. Every week hurting people come looking to the Word of God to help them. We’re thankful for the five certified counsellors we have currently – Anthony’s arrival will make it six. Two additional people are currently taking the exam. Continue to pray for this vital ministry. Psalm 119:24, Your testimonies are my delight; they are my counselors.
