Remember Mission Impossible? “Your mission if you decide to accept is …”  Well, in your bulletin is an invitation card and your mission is to give this card to a family member, neighbor or friend this week.

Easter is one Sunday where folks are more open to be invited to church than most Sundays. This is one of the reasons we host our Easter breakfast. The invitation is simple – “Would you be my guest for breakfast Easter Sunday and stay for our service?”  

Breakfast is at 9:15 am. The auditorium will be set up with tables. You are asked to bring a dish for the buffet line. A sign up list is on the table in the foyer. There is no SS/ABF Easter. We are breaking from our series in Genesis. I want to preach a very simple gospel message surrounding the resurrection. 

Surveys have shown the number one reason churches grow is through personal invitation. That’s right – you can have a strategic part in seeing Holt Baptist Church grow. We are to make and mature disciples for Christ.

Let’s make Easter Sunday a matter for prayer too. Let us ask God to bring those who need to know Christ. Let us make ourselves a committee of one to welcome our guests. Pray for me as I prepare the message – for our praise team as songs are selected, for all involved to use their gifts to see Christ magnified and souls saved.
